This very handsome and well-proportioned pair of early 19th C. mahogany pedestals feature a lovely Greek revival carved pilaster design and are stamped James Winter, Wardour Street, London A very well-known cabinet maker of the period. Each pedestal features a central shelf with a working lock and key on the side of the unit, and measure 15 in 38.7 cm wide and deep with a height of 31 in 80 cm.
