This magnificent late 18th C. gilt wood console table features a highly ornate but delicately designed series of scrolls, leaves and florals.  The two supporting cabriole legs are joined at the base with a series of scroll motifs and stand on curled feet. The table measures 29 in 75 cm wide, 17 in 43.8 cm deep at the deepest point center and stands 32 in 81.2 cm high. The marble top is a mixture of rich dark tones of brown, gold and red. This piece would make a superb focal point for a variety of rooms and settings.
