A fine C. 19th example of a Louis XVI style Gueridon or centre table and is in the manner of Henry Basson, a prominent cabinet maker of the period. The circular marble top is original and supported on 4 gilt bronze legs joined by curved X stretcher. The frieze features a single drawer and excellent quality ormolu mounts over a background of exotic wood. It measures 30 - 77.5 cm in height and 39 in 99 cm in diameter.
